Vijayawada: Alleging several TD leaders were threatening him following his remarks against the four TD MPs who defected to the BJP, TD MLC Mandali Budha Venkanna said he will lodge a complaint on Saturday on Director-General of Police Gautham Sawang, seeking action against them.
Mr Venkanna said that he was receiving threat calls from the TD leaders warning that he would be implicated in false cases and his business interests affected unless he stopped making adverse comments about them. He said that he received a phone call from the residence of MP Y.S. Chowdary. He alleged that he received a similar threat call from former MP Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad.
