Not scared of TRS-Congress combine: BJP

Dr Laxman said BJP national president Amit Shah will visit Telangana in June to strengthen the party and prepare it for 2019 polls.

Hyderabad: BJP’s Telangana unit president Dr K. Laxman on Monday said that the polarisation of political parties against his party has begun after recent Karnataka episode. He said the TRS government has helped Congress, JDS to hold camp politics in Hyderabad to dethrone BJP government in Karnataka.
Dr Laxman predicted that Congress and the TRS will join hands for the 2019 polls, but BJP will foil their attempts and win the elections.

“Despite KCR’s claims that he is dead against Congress, he recently helped the party to dethrone BJP government in Karnataka by arranging star hotel accommodation and security (for Karnataka MLAs). This exposed the hidden agenda between TRS and Congress. Both parties will join hands for 2019 polls against BJP. But we are not afraid of such unethical and evil designs. We will contest from all seats in Telangana and come to power,” Dr Laxman said.

He alleged that KCR’s proposed Federal Front is only to unite regional parties against BJP and help Congress to come to power at the Centre in 2019.
Dr Laxman stated that earlier all parties used to unite against Congress, but now they are trying to unite against BJP. “Congress and TRS are natural friends. They have worked together earlier. TRS was part of the UPA government. They will again come together for 2019 polls,” he said.

Dr Laxman said BJP national president Amit Shah will visit Telangana in June to strengthen the party and prepare it for 2019 polls. “BJP will contest independently in all the elections — from panchayats to Lok Sabha. We will show our strength in these elections,” he said.
