Thiruvananthapuram: After meeting V.S. Achutanandan followed by talks with CPI state leadership, the next stop for Pinarayi Vijayan was outgoing chief minister Oommen Chandy's home “Puthupally House”. Chandy and his wife Mariamma Oommen were at the gate to receive Pinarayi and Kodiyeri.
Chandy gave a warm handshake to Pinarayi before heading to a room for formal discussions. “The visit was to seek guidance from a former chief minister. We are willing to seek advise from all quarters,” he said in response to a question on the purpose of his visit. —DC
