Pinarayi as CM is against public wish: P C George
Kottayam: Mr P.C. George, Poonjar MLA, has flayed the CPM decision to make Mr Pinarayi Vijayan the chief minister and said it was an injustice to the people who had voted the LDF to power. “If V.S. Achuthanandan had not campaigned for the LDF, it would not have gained such a massive majority,” Mr George told reporters here on Saturday.
He opined that the Kerala Congress (M) should be dissolved since it had failed to help the farmers in the state who had aligned with it. “The Kerala Congress has pushed the farmers into poverty and misery,” he added.
He has planned a regional party with a national perspective to protect the marginalized sections from corruption and exploitation, he said. Mr George also asked Kerala Congress (M) chairman K.M. Mani to thank SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellapally Natesan for his victory in Pala.
