KAKINADA: Bahujan Samaj Party leaders are reluctant to give support to the Jana Sena upset that its partner did not allocate seats to the BSP where the party was hoping to win big. They also claimed that Jana Sena might not even get their deposits back in many of the constituencies it is contesting including the Assembly and Lok Sabha segments.

According to sources, the Jana Sena and the BSP joined hands to fight the elections and the Jana Sena had allocated 21 seats to the BSP. But now many of the BSP leaders and candidates feel they have been let down by the Jana Sena leadership.

They are also angry with their high command who they claim did not consult them regarding the alliance. They consider seats such as Kovvuru, Paderu and many other constituencies in East and West Godavari districts as potential winning bases which weren’t allotted to them.

On Thursday, BSP state coordinator Bhirsingh met some of the leaders in Amaravati. The leaders brought pressure on Mr Bhirsingh to change the arrangement with Jana Sena and allot BSP tickets to its winning candidates where the party is in strength. Otherwise, they would contest as rebels against Jana Sena.
