K Chandrasekhar Rao’s vows not kept: TRS MLAs

She urged the Chief Minister to speed up the process of declaring Khanapur as a revenue division.

Hyderabad: Three MLAs of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Friday expressed concern over delay in implementing the promises made by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in the run up to Assembly elections last year.

Khanapur MLA Ajmeera Rekha Nayak pointed out that the Chief Minister had promised to form Khanapur Revenue Divi-sion in view of the problems being faced by people in dealing with revenue issues.

She urged the Chief Minister to speed up the process of declaring Khanapur as a revenue division.

Station Ghanpur MLA and former deputy chief minister T. Rajaiah recalled that the CM had promised to set up a degree college in Ghanpur and requested him to establish the same as soon as possible.

Devarakonda MLA Ravinder Nayak said the Chief Minister had promised to provide irrigation water to 20,000 acres in tribal areas of Devarakonda segment. He requested that steps be initiated to extend water supply to farmers.
