BRS List 1: Kadiyam Replaces Rajaiah in Station Ghanpur, Jangaon Constituency Pending

Of the 11 members of sitting BRS party MLAs present in 12 assembly constituencies in the erstwhile Warangal district, only one sitting MLAs’ name of Station Ghanpur Thatikonda Rajaiah was not included in the first list of the candidates announced by the Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday.

The Jangaon constituency from where the BRS party MLA Muttireddy Yadagiri Reddy was representing was kept pending without announcing the name of the candidate who was going to participate in the coming assembly elections.

The sitting MLAs of Mahabubabad constituency Shankar Naik, Dornakal constituency MLA Redya Naik, Warangal East MLA Nannapuneni Narendar and Bhupalpally constituency MLA Gandra Venkataramana Reddy who faced a tough competition from the party leaders sighed big relief with announcement of their names in the first list.

But the two sitting MLAs of Station Ghanpur constituency Thatikonda Rajaiah and Jangaon constituency MLA Muttireddy Yadagiri Reddy received a major shock with the announcement of Kadiyam Srihari’s name from Station Ghanpur and Jangaon constituency kept pending without announcing the name of any candidate.

It is to be noted here that MLA Rajaiah took up Rajya Shyyamala Yagam and visited various temples, climbed the steps of the temple on the knees seeking the blessings of the gods to grab the party tickets while MLA Yadagiri Reddy by probing his followers to stage dharna, protests tried to show his strength and intensified lobbying with the party leadership.

But all the efforts put by both the sitting MLAs and their followers went in vain without their names in the first list and are deeply disappointed.
