26-member panel to drive Congress poll strategy

HYDERABAD: With the state Assembly elections approaching within six months, the Congress is gearing up for polls by forming a Pradesh Election Committee, headed by PCC president A. Revanth Reddy. This committee comprises 26 members, along with three ex-officio members.

The Pradesh Election Committee members include A. Revanth Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, Thatiparthi Jeevan Reddy, Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud, Jagga Reddy, J. Geetha Reddy, Mohd. Azharuddin, M. Anjan Kumar Yadav, Kunduru Jana Reddy, V. Hanumantha Rao, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, C. Damodar Raja Narasimha, Y. Madhu Yashki Goud, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Challa Vamshi Chand Reddy, S.A. Sampath Kumar, Renuka Chowdhury, Porika Balram Naik, Podem Veeraiah, Dansari Anasuya (Seethakka), Mohd Ali Shabbir, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Premsagar Rao and M. Sunitha Rao Mudhiraj. The ex-officio members consist of the president of the Pradesh Youth Congress, the president of State NSUI, and the chief organiser of State Seva Dal.

In another development, Saritha Tirupathaiah, the Gadwal district parishad chairman of BRS, and Sunil Reddy from Balkonda have officially joined the Congress in New Delhi, with AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge in attendance. TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy, AICC secretary Sampath Kumar, and former minister Shabbir Ali welcomed the new members into the party.
