No diary, no I-T raids on my friends, associates: DK Shivakumar

I am being harassed, victimised for the last one year, says minister.

Bengaluru: Water resources and medical education minister, D.K. Shivakumar, whose family members have received one more notice from the Income Tax department, denied on Wednesday that it had seized a diary from a businessman, which revealed that he had transferred a huge sum of money to some organisations in Delhi.

"There is no diary. I am not aware of it. There has been no raid on any of my friends or associates. You can write whatever you feel like," Mr Shivakumar told reporters, adding enigmatically that he too had some diaries , but he would not disclose their contents yet. "But I will disclose them at the end," he smiled, leaving the journalists perplexed.

Claiming that he was being victimised, the minister said he was being harassed for the last one year. “They are not able to tolerate my rise in politics and so are torturing me, my family and friends. I know who is doing this and why. I also know how to fight this legally. I am really upset by this," he added.
