HYDERABAD: Likening the padayatra by CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka with that undertaken earlier by Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, former Member of Parliament K.V.P. Ramachander Rao, exuded confidence that the Congress will come to power in the state.
Speaking with the media after meeting Bhatti, who is recuperating from heatstroke, Rao said, “YSR had embarked on a padayatra to bring Indiramma rule in 2003. Bhatti is on a similar yatra. It will yield positive results for the party.”
Bhatti Vikramarka is speaking on podu lands and problems faced by farmers because of dharani, Bhatti is giving assurances to farmers on resolving them once the party comes to power, the former MP said.
It’s providential that both of them fell sick due to heatstroke on the May 18, 20 years apart, Rao recalled.
