HYDERABAD: A social activist and lawyer Parrepati Yugandhar was allegedly attacked by supporters of Tungaturthi MLA from BRS Gadari Kishore on Saturday.
As this comes close on the heels of the attack on Palwai Nagesh, people should know whether it was the supporters of Gadari Kishore or other BRS leaders, who are behind such attacks, especially against dalits, said TPCC general secretary Addanki Dayakar.
Yugandhar has been raising his voice against the sand mafia, 2BHK scheme, Dalit Bandhu and three acres for Dalits, he said and wondered if it was a sin to raise voices against injustice meted out by the state government.
Dayakar wondered if it would be acceptable if BRS leaders were attacked in a similarly gruesome manner.
Those responsible for the attack on the advocate should be brought to book, demanded Dayakar.
