Hyderabad: Congress Legislature Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Ranga Reddy congress district president C. Narasimha reddy were booked under the City Police Act for organising a meeting without taking permission from the police.
According to the Meerpet police, a meeting was held at Swagath Grand near Lalithanagar Chowrastha.
The meeting was held by Mr Narasimha Reddy which was attended by Mr Vikramarka as the chief guest. Reportedly, around 400 Congress workers attended the meeting.
Meerpet sub-inspector of police Mybelly said, “When asked whether permission was granted for the meeting, they informed that it was conducted without any permission. Following which cases under the City Police Act were booked. Further investigation is on.”
