It's advantage Alappuzha for LDF

Alappuzha: Alappuzha district stands a good chance of getting at least four ministers in the LDF cabinet-- Dr Thomas Isaac, G. Sudhakaran, (both CPM), Thomas Chandy (NCP) and P.Thilothaman, (CPI) who have won from Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha, Kuttanad and Cherthala respectively.

Out of nine seats in the district, the LDF has bagged eight. In the previous V.S. Achuthanandan regime, Dr Thomas Isaac had handled Finance portfolio while Sudhakaran was the minister for co-operation and devaswom .‘There has been no discussion on the portfolios. But, we hope the district will have due representation with better portfolios,” an LDF leader said
