Said no wrong: PS Sreedharan Pillai on Attingal speech

The case was booked under section 153 A for promoting enmity among groups on the basis of religion.

Kozhikode: “I have not pronounced even a single word against any community in my Attingal speech,” BJP state president P.S. Sreedharan Pillai said in a press meet here on Saturday.

“I will end my political activism if I become a culprit. If not so, would Shivankuty end his political activism?, and will CPM tender an apology?” he asked.

The police had registered a case against Sreedaran Pillai on Tuesday on charges of communal speech against Muslim community at a rally in Attingal constituency following a complaint by V. Shivan-kutty. The case was booked under section 153 A for promoting enmity among groups on the basis of religion.

“I have not done any wrong in front of the God and country’s law. Court can’t punish me because I have said anything against law”, he said. He also said that “more than 30 thousand cases have been registered against BJP workers and its supports for protesting against Sabarimala women entry. LDF can’t destroy our party by charging false cases against BJP workers”.

LDF and UDF are playing dirty games against me and NDA. NDA is working very actively in all constituencies, he said. “We are very hopefull that this time the people of Kerala will support NDA. Narendra Modi government’s five years have done many favorable things for Kerala,” he added
