Chandrababu Naidu, K Chandrasekhar Rao attend city wedding but separately

Hyderabad: AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan met for the first time after the AP Assembly elections, at a private ceremony in Hyderabad.

Both were attending a marriage on Saturday in the capital when they came face to face with each other. They both shook hands and spoke with each other for a few minutes. Mr Kalyan also greeted Mr Naidu on his birthday.

While Mr Kalyan is accused of being in cahoots wth Mr Naidu, both had exchanged hot words during the campaign.

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao also attended the marriage but at a different time. It is not known if this was planned in advance.

Mr Chandrasekhar Rao and Mr Naidu have greeted each other, had a brief conversation and posed for pictures previously, especially when they met each other at functions at Raj Bhavan.

However, the increased bitterness after Mr Naidu campaigned for the Congress in Telangana state and Mr Rao promised him a “return gift” made the prospects of such a meeting unlikely.
