Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samiti working president K.T. Rama Rao on Wednesday said that if the people of Telangana state voted for the Congress and the BJP, it will benefits only Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi and if they voted to the TRS, it would benefit Telangana state.
Welcoming Congress workers from Boath and Nakrekal constituencies who came to Telangana Bhavan to join the TRS, he said the time has come for the Telangana people to decide whether they would like to support Mr Rahul, Mr Modi or the development of the state.
He said that electing the 16 TRS MPs would give strength to the party in the parliament to fight for the state’s cause.
Referring to various welfare measures introduced by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for framers, he said the neither the Congress nor the BJP ever thought of farmers even though the Congress once had a slogan of Jai Kisan.
