Vijayawada: Jana Sena chief K. Pawan Kalyan welcomed his brother and famous Telugu actor/producer K. Nagababu into the party. He said that it was from Nagababu he had learnt about politics and hence went to his house and invited him to join him. Pawan Kalyan added that Nagababu would contest from the Narasapuram Lok Sabha seat.
He said that his brother’s entry should not be seen as a back door entry like others and claimed that his joining and contesting election was a “direct entry”.
The Jana Sena chief said that Mr Nagababu had courageously taken the step to seek a public mandate. Apart from praising Nagababu for his awareness about politics, he added that he would be available to the public and hence he was fielding him as the JS candidate from Narasapuram Lok Sabha seat.
Mr Nagababu responded that during their childhood days, he entertained younger brother Pawan and “he became a good leader which is a good thing”. He also heaped praise saying that Pawan Kalyan was kind-hearted adding, “Pawan is not a younger brother to me but a leader.” He said he was inspired by Pawan to serve the public.
