YSRC says CM Chandrababu Naidu tours brought no investment

Many jute and ferroalloy units are being closed down, said YSRC MLA K. Veerabhadraswamy.

Hyderabad: YSR Congress has criticised the foreign jaunts of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, saying they seem to be aimed at furthering his personal and commercial interests and not at attracting foreign investments.

“The atmosphere in the state is not conducive to the inflow of in-vestments,” said party MLA K. Veerabhadraswamy. “Chandrababu Naidu has been touring foreign countries on the pretext of attracting investments but there is nothing so far to show any investor showed an interest in the state,” he said. “The finance minister boasting that investments worth Rs 4.67 lakh crore have come to AP looks like a mirage as not a single industry has been set up. On the contrary, many jute and ferroalloy units are being closed down,” he said.
