HYDERABAD: The BJP state unit is buoyant following the India Today-C voter-Mood of the Nation survey, which predicts six Lok Sabha seats for the party in Telangana, two more than the current four if elections are held now. The survey forecast a third successive term for the NDA government at the Centre. It gave credit to the positive role played by the party’s state chief Bandi Sanjay.
The survey results throw some interesting data points, said a senior party leader. The unholy alliance between TRS and MIM in 2019, which won 10 MP seats, is slated to forego one seat if elections were to be held today, he said.
Meanwhile, the survey findings have nothing to cheer for the Congress party or the TRS.
