TRS objects to BJP calling it ‘Pak agent’
HYDERABAD: Taking serious exception to BJP president K. Laxman calling the Telan-gana Rashtra Samiti a “Pakistani agent”, government whip K. Prabha-kar wondered why Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Pakistan to meet his counterpart Nawaz Sharif if the BJP considers Pakistan as an enemy.
Addressing a press conference at the TRS Legislature Party office, Mr Prabhakar said the BJP was bringing up extraneous issues to divert people’s attention from the economic slowdown facing the country, whether it was the controversial CAA, NRC or calling the TRS a “Pakistani agent”.
Mr Prabhakar maintained that the TRS government goes by humanity while the BJP ruled using religion as its basis. He asserted his party does not need any certificate from the BJP with regard to its rule.
Mr Prabhakar said the BJP won four MP seats in the state with false promises.
Now that the people have seen its real face, they will teach the saffron party a befitting lesson at the appropriate time.
Reacting to allegations of the BJP on the issue of cleaning Musi River, he asserted that the state government will certainly restore the glory of Musi.
