I'm in touch with BSP president Mayawati: Chandrababu Naidu

Mr Naidu said he would attend the public meeting called by Ms Banerjee on January 19 in Kolkata.

Vijayawada/Kolkata: TD president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that parties opposed to the BJP would meet before the Parliament Winter Session begins December 11, instead November 22 as scheduled.

Replying to questions, Mr Naidu said he was 'in touch with BSP president Mayawati “and everybody”. Discussions would be held among all leders and a plan of action chalked out.

“We are totally together, we are working together, we are speaking together. We all are together against the BJP government to save the nation,” Ms Banerjee said.

On his decision to bar the CBI in the state, Mr Naidu said that it was the state government’s discretion. Ms Banerjee said they were all together in working against the BJP and the meeting of the non-BJP parties would be in December before the Parliament session.
