Kadiam Srihari, kin not to join Congress
WARANGAL: TRS senior leader and caretaker deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari said that he and his daughter Kavya are not going to join the Congress as being wrongly circulated in news channels recently. He urged Congress leaders Madhu Yashki and Ponnam Prabhakar to reveal who is the TRS leader in touch with the Congress and is going to leave the party soon. He said the Congress leaders are resorting to cheap politics, unable to face the TRS in the state.
Mr. Srihari said that it is wrong for the Congress to promise just for the sake of power. He urged them to tell how they intend to bring the '2 lakh loan waiver scheme into implementation. Srihari said that out of the total revenue of around Rs 1.5 lakh crores, the TRS allocated nearly 65,000 crores towards welfare programmes, along with a promise to enhance the pension for all sections.
“Nothing impractical was announced by the TRS. It is a known fact that during the Congress’ rule, the leaders were only interested in amassing wealth instead of implementing its promises. Voting for the Congress is like opting for a corrupt government,” he said.
