N Chandrababu Naidu playing money game, says TRS
Hyderabad: Caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is learnt to have taken a serious view of the AP government allegedly deploying its intelligence and police staff in Party leaders alleged that this is being done to lure disgruntled leaders from the TRS, who were not given tickets in the recently announced list of 105 candidates for the forthcoming Assembly elections. They alleged that this was a way to sabotage the party and in return they will be paid handsomely.
TRS leaders complained that Mr Naidu is trying to exercise money power in the Telangana Assembly elections to ensure allotment of more seats for the TD in the grand alliance and also ensure victory for a respectable number of candidates from his party and thus play a 'crucial role' in the formation and running of a possible future Congress-led government and also influence the investigation into the ‘cash for vote’ case of 2015, in which Mr Naidu faces serious charges of luring TRS MLAs with money to vote for the Telugu Desam's MLC candidate.
Mr Rao is learnt to have assured TRS leaders that he will bring this issue to the notice of the Governor and ensure that AP intelligence and police staff stop all such activities in Telangana.
TRS leaders also met IT minister K.T. Rama Rao on this issue and urged him to contain it at the earliest.
