Interlinking grid on KT Rama Rao's mind
He asked the urban body to complete Layout Regularisation Scheme to be closed September end.
Hyderabad: Municipal minister K.T. Rama Rao has directed officials to explore the possibility of interconnected grid in Hyderabad for better utilisation of Godavari and Krishna waters.
This would ensure supply of drinking water to the city even when water level in one of the rivers falls, the minister said. He also asked the officials to submit a report on interconnected grid in a week.
Meanwhile, the municipal minister held a joint review of HMWSSB and HMDA wings on Tuesday.
He asked the urban body to complete Layout Regularisation Scheme to be closed September end. Mr Rama Rao also asked them to take up LED lighting installation work on the ORR stretch.
