Madhya Pradesh assembly polls: Amit Shah sticks to Ayodhya resolution'

All parties in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will be part of Cabinet at the Centre: Amit Shah.

Bhopal: BJP national president Amit Shah on Saturday said the vexed issue of construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya would be resolved either by the court or through negotiation among the stakeholders.

Ayodhya issue would be settled either inside or outside the court, Mr Shah who was on a three-day tour to Madhya Pradesh to gear up the party for the 2018 Assembly polls as well as 2019 Lok Sabha elections in the state, told reporters here.

“The Ayodhya impasse will be broken either by the court or through talks among the stakeholders,” he said, and added, “This has remained our stand on the issue all through the dispute”.

Replying to a question as to whether the JD(U), the new alliance partner of the BJP, would have representation in the Union ministry, he said, “All parties in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will be part of Cabinet at the Centre”.

Stating that India’s global standing has soared to new heights after the NDA government-led by Narendra Modi came to power at the Centre, he said world’s view about the country has changed.

He also lauded Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for turning MP from a “BIMARU” or sick state to one of the most developed one in the country now.
