Kottayam: Kerala Congress (M) general secretary Joseph M. Puthussery said that the party had no plans to have an alliance with the BJP. "Mr. Mani himself has clarified this after the steering committee meetheld at Kottayam on Sunday," Mr. Puthussery added.
"We are thankful that BJP president Kummanam Rajasekharan has welcomed us. But an alliance with NDA is not on our cards now. However, Mr. Kummanam's gesture reiterates the relevance and acceptance of KC(M)," he said.
