His aggressive behaviour to take control of any situation are qualities of a leader to become CM.

Bengaluru: Senior Karnataka Congress leader D.K. Shivakumar is one politician who openly espouses his desire to become the chief minister someday. He has deep pockets and is from a prominent caste, a prerequisite in Karnataka politics. His aggressive behaviour to take control of any situation are qualities of a leader to become CM.

Though he was brought into politics by late S. Bangarappa, he soon shifted his loyalty to S.M. Krishna who is now with the BJP. When Mr Krishna became CM, Mr Shivakumar virtually ;ruled’ many depatments in the government. After Mr Krishna, left the party, he spent a lot of money and time to regain trust.

He became famous overnight in the Congress circles and was noticed by the national leaders for the first time when Prithviraj Chavan government in Maharashtra was in crisis and guarded the MLAs.
