N Chandrababu Naidu tells his MPs to be alert in Parliament
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday cautioned Telugu Desam MPs to be alert to the situation in Parliament as he “suspected that the BJP wanted to get the Lok Sabha adjourned sine die as early as possible.
Mr Naidu interacted with the MPs and other senior leaders late in the evening, the second time on Monday, via a teleconference, during which he directed them to attend Parliament without fail. He also told them to be in touch with MPs of the parties that are the TD’s no-confidence motion and request them to give their support to maintain order in the House.
The CM told his MPs that BJP was trying to avoid a No-Confidence motion under the pretext of disorder in the House. Mr Naidu instructed the MPs to expose the BJP’s attitude towards its allies and its going back on the commitments given earlier.
“It’s time wisely and act according to the situation. Our ultimate aim is to ensure that the debate on No-Trust motion takes place and the BJP is exposed nationwide,” Mr Naidu said.
