KURNOOL: Electoral rolls of a village panchayat in Kurnool district have the photograph of cine star Venkatesh against the name of a woman voter.
The actor’s picture has come to notice in 31st ward of Kallur village panchayat. Immediately after realising the mistake, district collector G. Veera Pandian directed the RDO to rectify the issue. He also asked the RDO to take action against the BLO responsible for voter enrolment.
Kurnool has the dubious distinction of issuing passports in the name of film stars, underworld dons and so on.
