Hyderabad: ‘Skilled’ students get certificates

Hyderabad: Telangana minorities finance corporation chairman Syed Akbar Hussain distributed cheques under the Economic Support Programme.

The corporation has provided loans to the tune of Rs 1 lakh with an 80 per cent subsidy to 15 beneficiaries while 15 more beneficiaries were given Rs 50,000 monetary aid with a 100 per cent subsidy.

The corporation had provided three-month training in beautician course to 100 girls, who completed the training recently.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Mr Akbar Hussain said the corporation is providing skill development courses to male and female unemployed candidates through reputed organisations.

He said with these trainings the candidates will able to establish their own business. He said Telangana is the lone state in the country where minorities are getting incentives on par with the SCs, STs and BCs. Vice-chairperson and managing director, Ms A.H.N. Kanthi Wesley was also present.
