Vijayawada: The leaders of state BJP unit celebrated the victory of their party in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections. Minister for endowments Manikyala Rao, MP Gokaraju Ganga Raju and MLC Somu Veerraju distributed sweets to the party cadre. The jubilant party functionaries burst crackers at the BJP office. The leaders said the people in that state voted to Modi after witnessing development works by the BJP.
Minister Mankiyala Rao said the poll results in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh showed that there is no alternative to Narendra Modi. MP Gokaraju Gangaraju pointed out that people did not have any negative opinion about the BJP government even after facing trouble due to demonetisation and GST. MLC Somu Veerraju predicted that the BJP will win in Karnataka. The party will emerge as a key force even in AP and Telangana, he said. He said the Congress has no future in the country. and that people hated the Congress for its caste politics.
