BJP cadre confident of making Parivarthana Yatra a big success in Hubballi

Elated over the success in these States, the party leaders are working hard to ensure the success of the rally.

Hubballi: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh has given shot in the arm to the second leg of Parivarthana Yatre that will begin in the city on December 21. The Yatre is expected to provide a platform for the unity of various factions in the party.

Elated over the success in these States, the party leaders are working hard to ensure the success of the rally.

The party workers are working round-the-clock holding meetings at booth level in Dharwad district to showcase the BJP’s strength in the region.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the Yatre. The party plans to mobilise more than one lakh people for the Yatre.

The absence of leaders of the party from the state is evident in Parivarthana Yatre though state unit president B S Yeddyurappa has been touring North Karnataka since past few weeks. He is being accompanied only by local leaders of the party in North Karnataka with leaders Jagadish Shettar, K.S Eshwarappa, Pralhad Joshi and others confining themselves to their respective constituencies.

The whirlwind tour of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who is on inaugural spree of various development projects through his Sadhana Sambrama Yatre, has been posing a tough challenge to Yeddyurappa. But the victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh has given the much-needed enthusiasm to party workers in the region, which is the stronghold of the BJP.

“All preparations for the second leg of Parivarthana Yatre are in full swing. Party workers at the grassroots are working round-the-clock for success of the rally.

Though Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is touring the region and inaugurating development projects or laying foundation stones, most of the projects are funded by the Union Government.

“The failure of the state government to distribute ration cards, various sandals, CM Siddaramaiah’s inactiveness and corruption in the government are our focus of the rally,” MP Pralhad Joshi said.

Party leaders Jagadish Shettar and Pralhad Joshi have been camping in Hubballi-Dharwad twin cities and monitoring the preparations for the rally.
