Andhra Pradesh: Aggressive branding in Paraja Sankalpa Yatra
Vijayawada: The tech-savvy teams of YSRC have been adopting a novel technology to woo the public towards the party chief’s Paraja Sankalpa Yatra (PSY). One AV (Audio visual) van is continuously playing songs on Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Navaratnalu, all along the Yatra’s route and five video vans with LED screens are playing videos of Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy and his welfare schemes.
The party has decided to change its technological strategies, after every 500 kms of Mr Reddy’s padayatra. 800-plus flexes and hoardings throughout the yatra, 1,000-plus stickers distribution every day, and 5,000-plus YSRC calendar cards distribution on daily basis is the new strategy in the Praja Sankalpa Yatra (PSY) of Mr Reddy.
Aggressive branding is playing a key role in the trickling down of the message to the public in Mr Reddy’s padayatara. Mr Reddy’s yatra is currently in Anantapur district and crossed the 500 km mark. An AV van moves in front of Mr Reddy’s cavalcade. The same AV van is used for public addresses in towns. Apart from public addresses, songs composed on Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy are being played from this van continuously throughout the yatra.
Five branded video vans are deployed along the route of the padayatra. These five video vans reach the villages a few hours before Mr Reddy arrives. The speciality of these five video vans is the LED screens on both sides of the vans. Videos of the late Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy along with the testimonies of the people about their experiences in his tenure.
