COIMBATORE: The MDMK cadres staged a demonstration at Gandhipuram here on Sunday condemning the DMK activists for the attack on MDMK general secretary Vaiko, when he went to see DMK leader M Karunanidhi at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on Saturday.
Over 60 MDMK cadres led urban district secretary RR Mohan Kumar took part in the demonstration and shouted slogans against the humiliation meted out to Vaiko. They also sought the police to identify and arrest the DMK cadres, who
reportedly hurled slippers and a stone on their leader’s vehicle.
