Congress to Popularise Manifesto Across TS
Hyderabad: With 10 days to go for the Assembly elections, the Congress has decided to take the party's manifesto "Abhaya Hastham" to the people by distributing 3 crore pamphlets pertaining to the 70-point manifesto with promises to all sections will be distributed to people in all the 119 Assembly constituencies until November 28.
Top Congress leaders to undertake aggressive campaigning on party's manifesto for the next ten days.
Priyanka Gandhi will arrive in Telangana on Sunday and campaign in Khanapur and Asifabad.
Rahul Gandhi, AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states of Karnataka, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Himachal Pradesh will also campaign in Telangana in phases till November 28.
Instructions have been issued to party candidates in all the Assembly constituencies to keep manifesto pamphlets ready for distribution. They were also instructed to undertake door-to-door campaigning to distribute the pamphlets.
Priyanka Gandhi will arrive in Khanapur at 10.30 am on Friday by helicopter from Nanded. She will campaign for an hour in Khanapur. At 12 noon, she will proceed to Asifabad and campaign till 1 pm.
She will visit Nagoba temple and offer special prayers to the Goddess. She will visit Lambada thanda and undertake campaigning on Congress manifesto and Six Guarantees along with tribal women. She will later travel by an RTC bus along with women. She will leave for Nanded by 2 pm.
