Hyderabad: Questioning the purpose of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s visit to Delhi, former minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah demanded that at he reveal the real purpose of his visit at least this time and explain in what way the latest tour was helping Telangana and its citizens.
Speaking to media persons on Tuesday, Lakshmaiah felt that the ruling TRS has engaged the entire Cabinet in Munugode impacting the administration in the state. “While CM is in Delhi, the ministers who are campaigning for the by-election have left the immediate issues being faced by the people to the air,” he felt.
The Congress leader demanded that Chandrashekar Rao reveal the real purpose of his stay in Delhi. “Has he taken up the issue of Reorganisation of the AP state with the Centre ? There is no information about his visits. He is idling away in Delhi by giving excuses like his BRS. Ironically, even the officials are being invited to Delhi that too on a special flight,” he added.
