YSRC claims victory: Sadavarti Choultry

Satyanarayana, a realtor from Kadapa, got the tender for bidding Rs 60.30 crore.

Vijayawada: Open auction of 83.11-acre Sadavarti Choultry lands in Chennai got a huge response on Monday. Bids crossed Rs 60.30 crore.

The tender process was taken up at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Information Centre at T Nagar in Chennai under the supervision of endowments commissioner Anuradha in which eight bidders have participated.

Satyanarayana, a realtor from Kadapa, got the tender for bidding Rs 60.30 crore. The bidder who wins the bid should pay half of the amount within 48 hours of tender, as per the terms and conditions.

Meanwhile, YSRC leaders claimed that it was their victory. “The state government, which talked of no takers for Sadavarti lands, should answer now. The fight of our MLA Ramakrishna Reddy has shown positive results,” said former minister Kolusu Parthasarathi.
