Vijayawada: A medical board comprising three doctors conducted medical examination on Narsapur MP K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju in the presence of judicial officer Dr D. Nagarjun at Army Hospital in Secunderabad on Monday night.
According to a release from Army Hospital on Tuesday, the MP was taken to the hospital in the night on May 17 and was admitted after procedural formalities. Later, a medical examination was done by the medical board on him in the presence of judicial officer nominated by the Chief Justice of Telangana High Court during the night and the entire procedure was videographed.
The MP will be under medical care at the hospital in judicial custody till further orders to be issued by the Supreme Court. All activities are being taken up under the strict Covid-19 protocol.
Meanwhile, as the apex court directed to consider the presence of MP Raju in the Army Hospital as judicial custody, no visitor is being allowed to meet him. The medical board is to submit its report in a sealed cover to the apex court on May 21....
