Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president Mullapally Ramachandran has flayed the CPM for the attack against the Kasaragod UDF candidate, Rajmohan Unnithan, at Pilathra on Friday.
The CPM supporters grabbed the microphone and prevented Unnithan from addressing the public campaign held for the repolling on Sunday. Pariyaram CI and SI were at the spot when the incident happened.
Mullapally alleged that the local police remained mute witnesses to the attack. Unnithan alleged that the CPM was scared of the poll outcome forcing it to unleash an attack against him and the UDF supporters.
