Bengaluru: BJP state unit spokesperson N.R. Ramesh alleged that Yeshwantpur MLA S.T. Somashekar has misused the special grants from the BBMP, state and central government by diverting for improvement of layouts developed by him.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday he said that special funds were released for development of four waste processing units, which falls under the Yeshwantpur constituency.
Although there are no waste processing units at a radius of six km at villages like Tavarekere, Ramohalli, Kerechoodanahalli and Kaggalipura, special grants have been diverted for development of these villages. It is nothing but cheating of people residing around Kannahalli, Seegehalli, and Lingadheeranahalli plants, he alleged.
