Alappuzha: An ‘overactive’ G. Sudhakaran, CPM candidate of Ambalappuzha, has landed in trouble by poking his nose into the booth where Opposition Leader V.S. Achuthanandan cast his vote at the Government High School in Paravur on Monday.
The Punnapra police registered a case against him on Wednesday on the charge of violating the secrecy of the ballot following a complaint filed by the booth agent of UDF candidate Sheikh P. Haris with the district electoral officer.
