Vijayawada: Telugu Desam AP president Kinjarapu Atchannaidu on Wednesday termed as “attention diversion” the announcement that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will start governing the state from Visakhapatnam in September.
The TD leader wondered how Jagan Mohan Reddy can declare that he will start ruling Andhra Pradesh from Vizag when the issue of capital is in the Supreme Court.
Atchannaidu dared the CM to release a whitepaper with details of funds spent on north Andhra during the past four-year rule by YSRC government. He declared that Telugu Desam is ready to release a white paper on what TD has done for Uttarandhra.
The TD leader charged that Jagan has started the drama of three capitals for AP to divert public discussion from the murder case of former minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy.
Atchannaidu said there are rumours that elections could be declared in Andhra Pradesh any time, as the YSRC government is already running on a ventilator.
The TD leader said Uttarandhra MLC election has taught a befitting lesson to YSRC. The Mulapet Port foundation stone is a big hoax in view of the elections, he maintained.
