Mangaluru: Mining baron and founder of Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha G Janardhan Reddy has filed his nomination from Gangavathi in Koppal district.
He reached the Tahsildar office to file the nomination in a procession organized by his supporters. His family members were with him while filing the nomination.
According to the affidavit, the total value of moveable assets of Reddy is 29,20,44,317 and his wife's is Rs 96,26,01,444. The value of the moveable assets of his dependent is Rs 7,24,79,650.
The approximate current market price of immovable property of Reddy is Rs 8,00,37,000, and his wife's is 104,38,03,532 and his dependent is Rs 1,24,58,800.
Laxman Savadi, who had quit BJP and joined Congress too filed his nomination from Athani (Belagavi district).
The total income of Savadi for the year 2021-22 is Rs 80,99,920 and his wife's is Rs 4,86,820.
