In the suicide note purportedly written by him, it was mentioned: “I’m useless for all jobless. Unsatisfied life. No one is reason for this. Thank you to my family. I quit.”— undersigned as Naveen.

Responding to the incident, Revanth Reddy through his Twitter account tweeted, “Under the cruel ruling of KCR, one more unemployed youth ended his life. Day and night after working hard when Naveen Kumar of Sircilla town was qualified for Group-I examination, with ongoing leakage of question papers in the BRS government, he was depressed and took the extreme step.”

The state government must help the bereaved family by announcing `1 crore ex gratia immediately and registering a case of murder against KCR, he demanded.
Meanwhile, the IT Minister and Sircilla MLA K.T. Rama Rao spoke to the father of Naveen over the phone and assured the bereaved family of support from the government. He also ordered the Sircilla municipal officials to help the family with his final rites.
