Sangareddy MLA not to join TRS

So far no MLA has sent in their resignation letters to the Assembly Speaker.

Hyderabad: The TRS has scored a century in the Assembly, a desire often expressed by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao before the elections. Now, thanks to a series of defections, the TRS has reached the 100-mark.

Sangareddy MLA Turupu Jayaprakash Reddy, popularly known as Jagga Reddy, and Kollapur legislator B. Harshavardhan Reddy have said that they will not join the TRS.

Those who have said they will be joining the TRS are Sabita Indra Reddy, Vanama Venkateswar Rao, D. Sudhir Reddy (LB Nagar), K. Upendar Reddy (Palair), Atram Sakku (Asifabad), Rega Kantha Rao (Pinaka), Banoth Haripriya (Yellendu) and Chirumarthi Lingaiah (Nakrekal).

In the Assembly elections, the people voted for TRS for the welfare schemes introduced by Mr Chandrasekhar Rao. After the elections, the TD and Congress MLAs say they were attracted by the development works undertaken by Mr Chandrasekhar Rao and decided to join the ruling party.

All of them have said they were resign to resign from the Assembly and contest again as TRS candidates in the ensuing byelections. So far no MLA has sent in their resignation letters to the Assembly Speaker.
