Congress leaders confident of winning Adilabad LS seat

DCC president Eleti Maheshwar Reddy said that the Congress candidate will win the Adilabad MP seat with 1 lakh majority.

Adilabad: Congress leaders on Monday expressed confidence that they will win the Adilabad MP seat with a one lakh majority vote, adding that they are united.

Speaking to the media, former DCC president Eleti Maheshwar Reddy said that the Congress candidate will win the Adilabad MP seat with 1 lakh majority. He said that the fight will be between the Congress and BJP in the Lok Sabha elections and people of the state will get to know the true colors of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Former minister Ch. Ramchandra Reddy said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has failed to uphold his election promises like the hiked pension, ‘Nirudyoga Bruti’, three acre land to the Dalits, 2BHK and that the state government has incurred huge debts in the name of taking up development works.

TPCC secretary Gandrath Sujatha said that the Congress will work hard to help the candidate Ramesh Rathod win and hoped that the people would vote for the Congress candidate since they want to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister.

Congress candidate Mr Rathod said that he would be available for the people round the clock and work for the development of the Adilabad district. Adilabad DCC president Bhargav Deshpande, Sirpur ( T) party incharge Palvai Hareesh Babu, Nirmal DCC president Ramrao Patel and minority wing leader Sajid Khan and others were present.
