YSRC ends Ravali Jagan Kavali Jagan campaign

YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the leaders to reach out to each doorstep and mingle with the people across the state.

Vijayawada: The month-long Ravali Jagan Kavali Jagan outreach programme that was launched by YSRC cadre was completed on Wednesday. The YSRC cadre had started Ravali Jagan Kavali Jagan with an objective to reach out to every household on the ‘Navaratnas’ — the nine schemes that the party promised to roll out after coming to power.

This campaign was also aimed to strengthen the party from the grass-root-level. The party leaders and cadre created awareness among the masses on the alleged corrupt practices and misgovernance of the Telugu Desam government. YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the leaders to reach out to each doorstep and mingle with the people across the state.

Through Ravali Jagan, each constituency in-charge interacted with the people of at least two polling booths and discussed issues at local, state and national-level and also explained about Navaratnas which would offer benefits to various sections of the society.

Special committees at mandal, district and regional-levels closely monitored the activities of the booth-level committees through frequent reviews, issues pertaining to the specific booths and mandals. YSRC also encouraged new voter registrations across all the booths as it is every citizen’s Right to Vote.

Through his public meetings, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has addressed the long-term benefits of Navaratnalu for all sections of the people many times. He also said that Navaratnas worth '5 lakh per year would benefit when compared to '3,000 given by the TD for a vote during the elections.

Navaratnalu will offer free electricity and borewells, loans at zero interest and financial support of '12,500 for farmers through YSR Rythu Bharosa and YSR Aasara which will benefit DWCRA women, with loans at zero interest, and the loan waiver will be implemented in four phases.

Pension Scheme will increase the current '1,000 pension amount to '2,000 per month for all eligible sections of the community.

‘Amma Vodi’ is aimed to financially help students from Classes I to Classes V with '500 and Classes VI to X with '750 while Intermediate students will get '1,000 a month. Houses will be given through Housing Scheme for the poor and registration will be in the name of women of the household. The poor can also mortgage their homes for zero interest loans. The most talked about Navaratnalu Scheme Aarogyasri will financially help a family, if the head of a house has debilitating health issues.
