TRS trashes Congress claim of copying

TRS MP B. Vinod Kumar said the TPCC had not announced its manifesto so far.

Hyderabad: In a strong counter to TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, who claimed that the TRS copied the Congress manifesto, TRS MP B. Vinod Kumar said the TPCC had not announced its manifesto so far. “Where is the question of copying the Congress manifesto,” he asked.

He said the Congress is talking of continuing with the Rythu Bandhu. “It is better to say that they will continue the TRS government,” he said on Wedneday. He said the people had decided to reelect Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Mr Vinod Kumar said the people had faith in Mr Rao as he had implemented all the promises given in the 2014 manifesto, and implemented other schemes that had not been mentioned.

Referring to Congress leader D.K. Aruna filing a petition in the Supreme Court against the Assembly elections, Mr Vinod Kumar said this showed who was scared about the polls.

He said that when Mr Rao goes to the people’s court, Congress leaders were going to the High Court and the Supreme Court. He said the TRS would win more than 100 seats.
