BS Yeddyurappa, KS Eshwarappa iron out differences over brigade, party appointments

SHIVAMOGGA: Differences between BJP state president B.S. Yeddyurappa and senior BJP leader K.S.Eshwarappa over the setting up of Sangolli Rayanna Brigade and appointment of office bearers to the BJP units, seem to have been resolved with both leaders present at the inauguration of the new office of Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishat (ABVP) where RSS national joint secretary Dattatreya Hosabale too was present.

Mr Eshwarappa himself clarified that the differences that had prevailed due to some misunderstanding over the brigade and appointment of office-bearers, had blown over. “Now, the main agenda of Sangolli Rayanna Brigade is to bring back Mr Yeddyurappa as CM to lead the state. From now onwards, I will not be leading the Brigade”, Mr Eshwarappa stressed.

He said, “I and Mr Yeddyurappa sat together and discussed the issues. We have decided to settle any issues pertaining to the party organization within the confines of the BJP.”

“I and Mr Yeddyurappa are like brothers and have never fallen apart. Today if I have scaled greater heights in my political journey it is because of the guidance of the party as well as Mr Yeddyurappa,” he said.
