Congress' guarantees are pies in the sky: BJP

Hyderabad: The BJP on Sunday said that the Congress’s six guarantees are nothing more than proverbial pies in the sky. The promises are laughable.
"Congress did not say anything on how it will fund its six guarantees that require enormous funds. Before making such tall claims, the Congress should first tell the people how it will fund the programmes it promised, especially since the BRS party has bankrupted Telangana," BJP’s chief spokesperson for the state N.V. Subhash said.
In a statement, Subhash said the Congress making impossible to keep promises in a desperate bid to fool people. "And the script for today’s speeches was given to the Congress from Pragati Bhavan," he said.
"The Congress and BRS are one team supported by the AIMIM and ultimately, it will be the BJP that will receive the support of the people and form the next government in Telangana," he said.
